1. Who We Are
This Privacy Policy describes how TrackSure ("TrackSure", "we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you:

- Use the TrackSure products, including the WordPress plugin and any cloud-based tracking and analytics services we provide (collectively, the "Services").

When our customers install TrackSure on their own websites, they act as the "data controller" of their visitors' personal data, and TrackSure generally acts as a "data processor" (or "service provider") on their behalf, where applicable law (such as GDPR or CCPA) requires.
2. Scope
This Privacy Policy covers:
- Data we collect from you directly when you visit tracksure.cloud, create an account, purchase a subscription, or contact us;
- Data we process on behalf of our customers when TrackSure is used on their websites or apps.

3. Information We Collect
3.1 Information you provide to us
When you use our Site or Services, we may collect:

- Billing information — payment method details (processed by our payment providers), billing address, VAT/tax details.
- Support information — messages you send through our support forms, email, or live chat, plus any attachments or technical logs you share.

3.2 Information we collect automatically (Site & app)
When you visit tracksure.cloud or use our dashboard, we may automatically collect:

- Referrer URL, UTM parameters, pages viewed, time on page, clicks and navigation events.
- Login and usage information for your TrackSure account (e.g., when you sign in, configuration changes, project creation).

3.3 Data processed via the TrackSure plugin / script
When our customers install TrackSure on their websites, the plugin or tracking script may collect the following categories of data about their visitors:
- Page views, URLs, referrers, UTM parameters and campaign identifiers.
- Device information: browser, OS, screen size, language.
- Events such as product views, add-to-cart, checkout, purchases, form submissions, etc.
- Order and e-commerce information: product IDs, order value, currency, quantity, cart contents.
- User identifiers:
- First-party cookies or local storage IDs;
- Optional user/account IDs;
- Advertising IDs and click IDs (e.g., fbclid, gclid) where available.
- Optional customer data (if configured by the TrackSure customer), such as: email, phone number, name, or address, usually hashed before being sent to advertising platforms for matching purposes.
Our customers can configure what they track, which platforms they send data to, and how long they retain this data. TrackSure provides tools; the customer is responsible for lawful use (e.g., cookie consent, GDPR/CCPA compliance, etc.).
4. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for purposes such as:
- Providing and operating the Services — user authentication, tracking configuration, reporting and dashboards.
- Billing and account management — subscription management, invoices, fraud prevention.
- Customer support — responding to emails, debugging issues, improving documentation.
- Improving our products — analytics, A/B testing, and product development.
- Security and abuse prevention — detecting misuse, protecting against attacks.
- Legal compliance — complying with tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations.

- Business transfers — in relation to a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, where your data may be part of the transferred assets (subject to applicable law).
We require our service providers to use the data only as necessary to provide their services to us and to protect it appropriately.
7. International Transfers
Our servers and service providers may be located in different countries. When personal data is transferred across borders, we use appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable) to protect your information in accordance with data protection laws.
8. Data Retention
We retain personal data for as long as:
